Center Call Stats

All 9-1-1 calls within Klamath and Lake Counties are received at the call center.  We also handle emergency and non-emergency calls received on numerous 7-digit phone numbers. Additionally, we perform all dispatching functions for all law enforcement patrol units (except OSP), fire response, and ambulance.

On average, a single dispatcher at our center takes over 9,000 calls per year and has a 99% Speed of Answer. This means that your call is answered by a live person within 0-10 seconds of your call being received.

Klamath 9-1-1 Emergency Communications District handles all emergency calls that come in response units.
Each time an emergency response unit handles a request for assistance, this is considered a “call for service”.

The following is a breakdown of the statistics associated with receiving those calls, patrol vehicles, and the resulting “calls for service.”
