Klamath Interoperability Radio Group

The purpose of KIRG is to own, maintain, finance, and operate the county-wide interoperable radio
communications system. KIRG is an ORS chapter 190, including but not limited to those specific powers described in ORS 190.080.2.

The KIRG is governed by a board of directors ("Board") of seven individuals representing the following:
• Klamath Falls Police Department
• Klamath County Sheriffs Office
• Klamath 911 Emergency Communications District
• Klamath County Fire District No. 1
• Klamath County Public Works Department
• Klamath County Fire Defense Board
• Klamath County Ambulance Advisory Committee

Board Meetings

Our board of directors meets on the third Wednesday day of each month at 10:00am in the board room at district’s main location. The board may also schedule special meetings at other times when needed, and will post notice according to ORS.

KIRG

For the Fiscal Year of 2023/2024, the Group will hold its Regular Board Meetings on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 10:00 am.

Advisory

The 911 Advisory Committee is comprised of agency representatives from the public
safety and emergency services agencies in Klamath County. To further ensure that the District is functioning for maximum safety and efficiency. This committee meets quarterly, on the 3rd, Wednesay of the month.
